These galleries
hold a large selection of pictures shot by London photographer Christopher
Holt during his many visits to France. With family from Normandy Christopher
has always had very close ties to France and is constantly amazed
by it's genuinely photogenic nature. Without any great effort, Christopher
has found in France, an ideal - a country in which it is easy to avoid
photographic cliches, where nature speaks for itself and an almost
medieval beauty can be found in the morning mists of Normandy, Paris
or perhaps the Auvergne - the choice is yours.
The French people
have a great regard for artists and photographers which is why Christopher
has enjoyed exhibiting his work there also. It was through the generosity
of his hosts in France, that his first travel exhibition was held
in Yerville, Normandy.
